Today, we had brunch at Denny's at 10:00 AM and attended the 11:00 AM Mass.
It's nice to wake up a little later than usual and enjoy a break from our routine.
For today, I had Prime Rib Denny's Bennies. Despite the charred onion, the rib itself was tender. The egg was perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce was excellent.
I also had Breakfast Poutine, which was great and was food coma-inducing. Imagine swapping gravy with Hollandaise sauce and french fries replaced with red-skinned potatoes, it was delicious.

Hubby had a new item on their menu, and I thought he was kidding when he said he's having Choconana pancakes. My husband likes pun and mixing words to make them funny, so I really thought he was joking.
Anyway, the pancakes were served with hashbrowns, a choice of sausage or bacon, and two eggs cooked the way you liked.
The pancake was fluffy and sweet because of the chocolates, and the banana balances things out, so it's not overly sweet. The sausage was cooked perfectly (now, I know what texture to look for when cooking sausage at home!), and so was the sunny side up eggs.
What's great about this Denny's location is they share it with Bar One, so it means there are multiple TV screens, and they stream different Sunday NFL games at once.
