I tried all the food huts inside the Vancouver Christmas Market, and below are my top 5 must-try. For prices and menus, check this post.
1. Das Gulasch Haus
The stew is flavourful and perfectly warm for the cold weather. If you eat
meat, go for beef stew. Otherwise, they offer the potato vegan stew.

2. Haxen Haus
If you told my past self that pork would be something I'd love, she might get a heart attack. It's a testimony of the delicious pork hock from the Haxen Haus. It's crispy and full of pork flavour, perfect with beer.

3. Perogies
It seems silly to recommend the perogies, but the perfect bite is a piece of perogy, sauteed onion, sausage crumbs, sour cream, and sauerkraut. I am salivating just thinking about it.

4. Mr. Hotcakes
Hubby and I had difficulty recommending sweets because there are so many delicious ones. However, our favourite sweets food hut is Mr. Hotcakes. It was warm, topped with whipped cream, and filled with something gooey. It's perfect.

5. Churros
The last spot was a toss between Authentic Churros and Pancake and Waffle Haus, but I can always get pancakes and waffles outside the market. But delicious churros are harder to find in Vancouver, and the churros inside the Vancouver Christmas Market are top-notch.

Hubby and I paid for seasonal tickets to try as many food items as possible to prepare this list. If you want to know my thoughts on all the food hut vendors, you can find the list below.
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! May you find peace, joy, and love this festive season. If you find this post helpful, please share it with your family, friends, and loved ones.
