Happy first day of summer! Surprisingly, it's 14°C and cold. To help us warm up, hubby and I prepared the Beef and Bean Chili with Sour Cream and Cheddar from our HelloFresh box for lunch today.

The ground beef provides rich and savoury flavour while the sweet bell pepper and green onion adds layers of subtle sweetness and a light crunch enhancing the texture of the dish. However, the real start of the show are the kidney beans. It's creamy and earthy that adds a velvety texture that pairs well with the beef.
To finish the dish, a dollop of sour cream is added, providing a cool and creamy contrast while the melted cheddar cheese on top adds a gooey texture.
I'll miss cooking lunch once I go back to the office and become an employee on a hybrid schedule.
