Happy Saturday morning! We're running errands this morning. We went to a tailor shop to have a couple jackets fixed. Then, we walked to nearby Cafe Artigiano for their two hot chocolate items, which are part of the 14th Annual Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival.

My husband was a brave man for finishing the Chocolate Caliente. It is dark chocolate infused with spices and boy was it strong. The addition of spices adds depth, creating a nuanced taste that hurts your throat at every sip. Mixing it with the cinnamon sugar churro helped tone things down a bit.

I went for the S'morelicious Hot Chocolate. It is rich and decadent with a hint of rosemary vanilla syrup. However, the torch marshmallow was a bit too strong. I have no idea why the torched flavour reminded me so much of sushi. The s'more cookie was delightful and perfect when dipped into the hot chocolate.
