There's nothing quite like a satisfying shawarma lunch to fuel an afternoon of exploration, and today's trip to Ikea in Richmond was no exception! Our quest for deliciousness led us to Osmow's Shawarma, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.

Osmow's offers a unique approach to shawarma, allowing you to customize your order with a "half & half" option. I opted for the "on the rocks" base, a bed of fluffy rice, and "on the salad" with beef. To add some heat, I kicked it up a notch with their "hot" spice level and it added an excellent delicious burn. The first bite was an explosion of flavour – the tender beef, marinated to perfection, married beautifully with the fresh vegetables, and the subtle heat danced on my tongue. It was surprisingly good shawarma, exceeding my expectations!

A Classic Combo: Rice & "On the Stix"
Hubby went for the classic rice & "on the stix" combo, opting for crispy fries as his "stix" base. His choice of lamb shawarma was delicious too. The lack of spice allowed the natural taste of the lamb to shine through.

Baklava Cheesecake: A Sweet Conclusion (with a Hint of Feedback)
After my spicy shawarma adventure, we shared a slice of Baklava Pistachio Cheesecake to cool down. While the creamy cheesecake was delightful, the vanilla flavour was overpowering. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, but a slightly more subtle vanilla and a more prominent pistachio presence would have elevated it to the next level.
